Indeed, you may think that this game is inspired by Pacific Rim unless, of course, Pacific Rim wasn't a botch itself and wolfed down sources as Power Ranger, Gamera, Evangelion, you name it, all our whole puberty in the early 90s. Anyway, "alien terrorists" (yes, that's how they're called in-game) have landed on Earth and, what a coincidence, someone took the trouble of building huge anthropomorphous robots, which indeed are seldom efficient when laws of physics apply, but are reasonably cool in terms of popular imaginary.
